Memories in Calories - Gain Jam version
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
This game is a short puzzle adventure where an amnesiac girl wakes up in a laboratory, regaining her memories through foods and uncovering the truth.
Each food item contains memories, so she must consume many calories even if she dislikes it.
Of course, you might enjoy this, but if she gets too fat too quickly, you'll find yourself in a tricky situation before reaching the ending!

The wait is over! I finally released the final version with the last ending and gallery feature! This version will be exclusive to Patreon supporters for a few weeks until the Gain Jam judging is complete. After that, it will be available to everyone.

I'm really sorry if you have any criticism about my pricing policy. I sincerely think it was a mistake to cause controversy by putting a paid wall on pre-released version of gain jam. However, I hope you can consider my position for a moment.
First, offering paid early access for gain jam isn't something only I did this year. Many other developers who participated in past gain jams have done the same. Since this is the first time I participate in this event, I thought this was a common practice.
Second, the gain jam submission version doesn't allow modifications until judging. I truly wanted to complete this game by submission, but two weeks was too short to finish it. So, while following the rules, I decided to offer some extra benefits to those who support me.
If you see any unfairness in this, please let me know. I'm distributing this game completely free and not demanding any compulsory monetization from users.
Seems fair enough to me, though I would definitely say that the value of feedback while developing a game (especially in a short time) is so disproportionately great that I would be hesitant to stymie the supply of such an asset.
i am having a problem with my character wanting to move up and to the left by default
Are you using a joystick or gamepad? Such issues can occur with input devices other than keyboard.

no i just thought it was meant as an insult. the comment before the edit just seemed like a harsh insult. i see alot of people getting up and arms at artists and devs for even thinking of using AI and its gotten to the point people will undermine the artists work by implying they used AI instead of drawing it.

As written on the bottom left of title screen, most of backgrounds and items are AI generated. the character and cut scene arts are my works.
